4. Registering for Your Own Papers
Q1: Can I register a paper on behalf of someone else?
A1: No. You must be on the paper’s author list to register it.
Q2: Can I choose virtual registration for a paper?
A2: No. Virtual registration is strictly for attendees, not for paper registration.
Q3: May I register a paper under either ACM or non-ACM member status?
A3: Yes. If registering as an ACM member, you must provide a valid ACM membership ID.
Q4: I’m presenting a tutorial. Do I need to claim a paper ID for it?
A4: No. Tutorials do not require to register a paper ID.
Q5: If I have one paper in the Research Track and one in the Demo Track, do I need to two registerations?
A5: Yes. Each paper presented during the main conference (Day 3–5) requires a separate registration, regardless of track.
Q6: How many workshop papers can be covered by one full (non-student) registration?
A6: Up to twoworkshop papers can be covered by one full (non-student) registration.
Q7: Can I use a full (non-student) Passport registration to cover two papers in the main conference?
A7: No. The policy of one registration per paper still applies to the main conference period.
